Colour Technician
ABOUT THE ROLE
Sherwin-Williams is a global leader in paints and coatings. We are looking for a Colour Formulator to join our team in Hamilton, working in colour creation and formulation across our specialist coatings range.
Based at our Hamilton distribution and warehouse site, you will be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality colour formulations for our customers.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Formulating colour for a range of specialist coatings
- Matching and modifying colour for automotive, industrial and wood coatings across a range of colours and hues
- Maintaining accurate records and colour databases
- Reporting on work in progress
- Working safely and in line with our health and safety policies
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience in automotive or industrial coatings - particularly in colour formulation and the application of two-pack polyurethane and acrylic coating systems - would be an advantage, but it is not essential. Full training will be given to the right person.
