Job title: College Credit Plus (CCP) Program Coordinator
About the Role The CCP Program Coordinator supports Steubenville location operations, coordinating College Credit Plus programming with academic departments and external partners to generate student credit hours. You will plan recruitment and delivery of CCP services, coordinate logistics, and ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing advising for CCP students in collaboration with YSU main campus and regional stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Generate student credit hours through collaboration with academic departments and external partners.
- Develop and implement program plans for recruitment and delivery of CCP programming; coordinate logistics and provide customer relations.
- Administer application and registration processes, and student onboarding sessions at remote sites; coordinate onboarding with YSU main campus.
- Collaborate with YSU main campus on marketing materials for the Jefferson County region; assist with marketing and communications.
- Provide short-term support to prospective and current students; liaise with Student Enrollment Services on financial aid, registration, and billing.
- Conduct information sessions for students and parents about dual enrollment opportunities, benefits, and consequences.
- Administer course placement testing services (group testing on campus and at remote sites for CCP students); assist with major-specific testing for YSU students.
- Ensure testing compliance with YSU Testing Center; maintain security of materials; monitor test environment.
- Advise CCP students on placement interpretations, career/academic goals, and course scheduling and registration; monitor progress via CRM and advocate for navigating policies.
- Follow up with prospective students, parents, and stakeholders; transition advisees to college-based advising upon degree attainment.
- Manage MOUs, course planning forms, schedules, CRN verifications, funding letters, and bookstore lists; escalate issues with YSU main campus leadership.
- Maintain student files in accordance with federal/state regulations; contribute to marketing material development; communicate with supervisor and staff as needed.
- Identify funding opportunities and support grant-writing; gather data and prepare reports.
- Teach YSU 1500 (Student Success Seminar) as needed; collaborate with First Year Student Services on content.
- Train new hires and perform other duties within the classification as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required; at least three years in high school/college scheduling, testing, advising, or guidance counseling in higher education or high school setting.
- Knowledge of university policies, records management, testing procedures, customer relations, and office practices; strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to relate well with faculty, administrators, and students; ability to collaborate with partners; ability to maintain records; CRM experience preferred.
- Proficiency with office software and testing/placement tools; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Valid driver's license; willingness to travel; required proctor training for computer-based placements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in education or related field; experience with CCP; familiarity with technology including audience response systems, Apple products, and presentation equipment.
