Volt is immediately hiring for a Coil Assembly Technician / Production Assembler in Rainsville, AL 35986.

As a Coil Assembly Technician / Production Assembler, you will:

Responsibilities

• Prepare coils and components for final assembly and testing

• Bend, shape, cut, strip, and solder wires and electrical leads

• Attach wires using lugs, crimps, and connectors

• Pull lead wires and install protective sleeving

• Use pneumatic and hydraulic crimping tools

• Sand and prepare wire surfaces as required

• Read and follow work instructions, specifications, blueprints, and assembly drawings

• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications

• Safely lift, move, and position materials using lift-assist equipment

• Support physical inventory and cycle count activities

• Meet daily production, efficiency, and quality goals

• Maintain 6S, Lean Manufacturing, and workplace organization standards

• Follow all safety regulations and PPE requirements

• Perform additional assembly and production duties as assigned

• This is a full-time, contract opportunity.

• Shift: 2nd Shift (Training on 1st Shift)

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or electrical assembly experience preferred

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, work instructions, and shop aids

• Ability to solder wires and electrical components

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

• Good verbal communication skills

• Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Pay Rate: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour.

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
