About this role
Coffee please! Morning Café volunteer, Residential Care, Wahroonga.
Spend your morning helping create a welcoming, café‑style space for elderly residents at HammondCare Wahroonga. The role involves setting out cups and saucers, making coffee using a pod machine, and serving light refreshments while offering friendly conversation and connection. It’s a simple way to bring comfort, warmth, and a sense of community to those who appreciate it most.
We’re seeking support for a 10am–12pm morning session, Monday to Friday, either weekly or fortnightly. Your presence can turn an everyday coffee break into a moment of joy and companionship.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
