Responsibilities

• This team member reviews medical record documentation, extracts data, and applies appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes for inpatient and/or outpatient hospital encounters to support hospital billing, internal and external reporting, research and regulatory compliance. (From listing above)

Qualifications

• Qualifications vary by role; entry-level and administrative positions may require a high school diploma or equivalent, while nursing, clinical, research, and specialized healthcare roles typically require relevant degrees, certifications, and professional licensure.
