About the Role Greptile is seeking a code reviewer to work with an autonomous code review agent designed to surface bugs that slip through standard PR reviews. This role focuses on leveraging AI-powered reviews to improve code safety and speed up PR feedback.
What You'll Do
- Work with the autonomous code review agent to assess pull requests and surface high-impact issues.
- Interpret 0-5 PR scores, parse complex changes using sequence diagrams and flowcharts, and understand key changes at a glance.
- Automatically generate unit tests for new and changed code in every PR and propose one-click fixes to comments.
- Clarify issues by asking follow-up questions in the PR to capture context and intent.
- Define and apply custom context such as team standards, style guides, and file-pattern rules to tailor reviews.
- Customize how reviews run, filter noise, and collapse sections to keep PRs concise.
What We're Looking For
- Interest in AI-assisted code review, bug detection, and scalable PR workflows.
- Familiarity with code review tools, PR processes, and software development practices.
- Ability to define and adjust review rules, style guides, and scoped file patterns.
- Comfortable working with configurable tooling and automation to improve code quality.
- Strong communication skills to interpret feedback and propose improvements.
