About the Role Greptile is building an adaptive, AI-driven code review platform that learns your codebase and coding standards as you use it. You’ll contribute to a product that delivers personalized, context-aware reviews and helps teams scale their code quality over time.
What You'll Do
- Develop and evolve features for adaptive learning and custom context in code reviews.
- Build and maintain a full codebase context by constructing a graph of your repo and adjacent repos.
- Configure and apply custom rules using greptile.json at the repo level and dashboard settings for org-wide defaults.
- Scope review rules to specific repos, directories, or file types based on team needs.
- Automatically index existing rule files like Claude.md, AGENTS.md, and cursor.rules to enrich review context.
- Learn from feedback (reactions and what gets merged) to continuously improve review relevance over time.
What We're Looking For
- Interest in or experience with AI-assisted code review tooling and configurable code quality rules.
- Familiarity with graph-based representations of codebases and context-aware tooling.
- Ability to configure repository-scoped rules and contexts and to scope them to directories or file types.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to translate team standards into actionable review rules.
- Comfort reading and leveraging project rule documentation (e.g., Claude.md, AGENTS.md).
