Coater Operator

Guardian Glass is seeking motivated Coater Operators to join our team in Kingsburg, CA. In this role, Coater Operators perform a variety of coordinated activities that support our safety, quality, and production goals. The selected individual will work closely with co-workers, team leaders, and supervisors to develop their skills and contribute to improving our workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have the technical and mechanical aptitude required to quickly learn manufacturing processes, combined with a logical and process-oriented mindset. Experience in adapting to transformation and driving change to create maximum value is important, as is the ability to effectively articulate verbal and written messages to diverse audiences, fostering shared understanding.

The pay for this role is $18 per hour.

What You Will Do

  • Safely execute daily operations within the coater department. Employee safety is our first priority, always.
  • Consistently demonstrate values and behaviors in alignment with our culture of Principal Based Management
  • Assist process team with product improvements and development opportunities.
  • Resolve quality issues, (on hold, additional trials, etc.), liaison for maintenance and process team.
  • Operate and troubleshoot equipment utilized during daily manufacturing.
  • Perform tasks such as lifting/pushing/pulling up to 75 pounds, walking, climbing, stooping, and standing, up to 12 hours/day, in a non-climate-controlled environment.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • One (1) or more years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
