About the Role Coat Check at Irving Plaza is a part-time guest service role focused on delivering a smooth and safe venue experience for fans. The position supports guests with information about the music area and assists with timing details for acts, while coordinating with venue staff to ensure a positive guest experience. What You'll Do
- Serve as a resource of information for all Guests and Members regarding their experience in the music area.
- Provide assistance to guests and members regarding the timing of the supporting acts and headliner acts.
- Provide assistance to all positions and communicate effectively with others to enhance guest and members experience
- Ability to balance tickets issued to revenue
- Articulate vocabulary with the ability to adapt and socialize with current audience
- Exemplary and professional grooming standards
- Ability to anticipate guests’ needs
- Adherent to HOB dress code policy
- Ensure guest safety through proactive personal interaction and removing hazards in the area of responsibility
- Safeguard against theft and property damage
- Attend pre-shift meeting conducted by Manager on Duty prior to start of each shift What We're Looking For
