About the Role A specialist-level technician responsible for performing highly skilled mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of motor coaches. The role involves diagnosing complex repair needs, completing major repair projects, and sometimes directing team-based work while upholding Prevost and Volvo standards. What You'll Do
- Work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Diagnose and repair Electrical, HVAC, suspension, Pneumatic and Brake Systems
- Provide training, assistance, and mentoring of fellow coworkers
- Maintain focus on customer service and equipment safety; uphold quality and safety standards
- Complete documentation thoroughly and on time according to company requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment; verify materials and equipment per ISO guidelines
- Assist customers over the phone with technical issues or questions as needed
- May fill in for team leader and demonstrate leadership through the Red Carpet Policy
- Analyze and apply the latest technology and systems in the industry What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years of qualified mechanical experience or technical school graduate
- Pass required aptitude test; advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to look up parts efficiently and independently
- Proficiency with electronic media and laptop use
- Ability to supervise or fill in for team leader when needed
- Compliance with DOT physical standards; EPA certifications for refrigerant handling
- Required tools to perform as a Level 3 technician Nice to Have
- Experience with heavy-duty coach repair or Prevost/motor coach environments
- Knowledge of ISO quality and safety standards; strong communication skills Compensation & Benefits
