About the Role Join L-H Battery Company for a Summer/Fall 2026 Co-op/Internship. You will support the engineering team by updating CAD drawings, analyzing HVAC and building systems, and helping design modifications to plant infrastructure under supervision. This program can lead to potential full-time opportunities. What You'll Do
- Update and document CAD drawings of existing infrastructure
- Analyze and design existing sanitation, HVAC, and building pressure systems
- Develop short- and long-term solutions; design modifications; update mechanical specifications and standards
- Review electrical drawings; learn plant power infrastructure; verify electrical panel schedules
- Coordinate power shutdowns, energy reporting, and safety items; verify construction completeness
- Support SRP/CESS/Environmental Equipment/Hot Oil Boilers; arc flash analysis
- All related safety items and other duties as assigned What We're Looking For
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program studying Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (you will be required to provide your current transcript)
- Class status: Sophomore (by credit hour) or above
- Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week
- Valid U.S. Driver's License (exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
- Ability to provide own transportation to and from work each day
- AutoCAD, CATIA, and manufacturing-related coursework desired; Microsoft Office proficiency Nice to Have
