About the Role Join LGESHD L-H Battery Company, Inc. in Jeffersonville, OH for Summer/Fall 2026 Co-op/Internship opportunities. You will work under senior engineers on civil and facilities projects to gain hands-on experience in analysis, planning, and construction verification that support energy storage solutions. This program offers multi-semester co-ops and internships and serves as a potential pipeline for full-time roles. What You'll Do
- Analyze existing trusses for potential reinforcement under the direction of a senior engineer
- Verify field conditions
- Plan and oversee summer pavement activities
- Provide engineering project support
- Develop project punch lists
- Develop and label utilities drawings
- Provide general facilities department support
- Support construction projects and perform construction verification
- Prepare trouble-shooting reports
- Track and analyze roof leaks
- Conduct risk analyses
- Support operation of SRP/CESS/Hot Oil Boilers/Environmental Equipment
- Assist with safety-related areas
- Perform other assigned duties What We're Looking For
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- General Engineering Coursework
- Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher (You will be required to provide your current transcript)
- Class status: Sophomore (by credit hour) or above
- Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program studying Civil Engineering or related field
- AutoCAD, CATIA, Manufacturing related coursework desired
- Microsoft Office
- Valid U.S. Driver's License (exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
- Ability to provide own transportation to and from work each day

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and CATIA
