About the Role The Hershey Company's West Hershey Plant is seeking a co-op in Process Engineering. The student will work in an industrial environment in a hands-on role, tackling assignments akin to an entry-level engineer and gaining exposure to milk chocolate processing equipment and cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Investigate and troubleshoot problems in processes and equipment
- Design and optimize processes and equipment
- Prepare documentation including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and engineering calculations
- Develop scopes of work, functional specifications, and cost estimates
- Function as project manager by writing and implementing projects
- Purchase components and equipment
- Coordinate installation work and equipment startups
