About the Role LGESHD L-H Battery Company is offering potential Summer/Fall 2026 Co-op/Internship openings at their Jeffersonville, OH facility. Interns will support engineering and facilities projects under the guidance of senior engineers and will participate in a program designed to develop hands-on experience and serve as a pipeline for future opportunities. What You'll Do
- Leading or under direction of a senior engineer: Analysis of existing trusses for potential reinforcement
- Verification of field conditions
- Planning and overseeing summer pavement activities
- Engineering project support
- Project punch list development
- Utilities drawing, development and labeling
- General facilities department support
- Construction projects and construction verification
- Troubleshooting reports
- Tracking and analyzing roof leaks
- Risk analysis
- Supporting SRP/CESS/Hot Oil Boilers/Environmental Equipment Operation
- All safety related areas
- All other assigned duties What We're Looking For
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- General Engineering Coursework
- Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher (You will be required to provide your current transcript)
- Class status- Sophomore (by credit hour) or above
- Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week
- Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program studying Civil Engineering or related field
- AutoCAD, CATIA, Manufacturing related coursework desired
- Microsoft Office
- Valid U.S. Driver's License (exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
- Ability to provide own transportation to and from work each day Nice to Have
