Job title: Cnc Turner
About the Role CNC Turner in Geldrop, responsible for operating CNC turning machines (Siemens and/or Fanuc controls) and conventional lathes to machine parts. You will program and adjust the machines, measure finished components, and support other departments as needed. The role operates in a 3-shift environment with shift allowances and aligns with Lean, 5S, and safety policies.
What You'll Do
- Operate CNC turning machines (Siemens and/or Fanuc) and conventional lathes to machine varied precision parts.
- Program and set up machines, adjusting as required to meet documented specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Measure finished parts with appropriate inspection tools and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace following 5S and safety policies.
- Follow ANDRITZ FEED & BIOFUEL B.V. procedures and supervisor instructions; adhere to company policies.
- Apply Lean principles to work efficiently and continuously improve processes.
- Be prepared to work in a 3-shift schedule and take additional hours when needed.
- Collaborate with other departments as required.
What We're Looking For
- A skilled tradesperson with appropriate education or extensive experience.
- Extensive experience programming Siemens controls; familiarity with Fanuc or Mazatrol and conventional machines is a strong plus.
- Willingness to learn rework/post-processing and pursue relevant training.
- Flexible, independent, and a team player.
- High quality awareness, results-oriented and precise.
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift schedule and to work overtime if required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls and conventional machines is a plus.
