About this role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled CNC Operator – Turning Centre to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in operating and setting up CNC turning centres, with a good understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC turning centre machines as per job requirements.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.

Load CNC programs and perform minor program edits when required.

Select appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and machining parameters.

Set tool offsets and work offsets to achieve the required dimensions.

Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.

Maintain dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and product quality.

Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain workplace cleanliness.

Coordinate with the production team to achieve daily production targets.
Requirements

Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in CNC turning centre operations.

Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or a related trade.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Knowledge of turning operations, cutting tools, and machining parameters.

Basic understanding of G-code, CNC programs, and program adjustments.

Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.

Knowledge of tool setting, offsets, and dimensional inspection.
