CNC Maintenance Specialist
The CNC Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving CNC machining equipment and supporting automated manufacturing systems. This position serves as a key technical resource for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, maintaining process capability, and supporting quality objectives in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, and automated production equipment.
- Troubleshoot spindle systems, servo drives, axis faults, tool changers, machine controls, and CNC-related alarms.
- Measure and adjust ball screw backlash, spindle runout, and machine alignment to maintain process capability.
