Job title: CNC Machinist
About the Role As a CNC Machinist, you will operate our CNC mill and lathe machines to produce production parts. You will be responsible for setting up, editing programming, and operating the machine, and for verifying that parts meet engineering and quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce production parts
- Set up machines, edit programs, and run machining operations
- Verify that parts meet engineering specifications and quality standards
- Perform basic maintenance and routine checks on the machine
- Operate forklift and overhead cranes per OSHA standards
- Work in a dynamic industrial environment with multiple tasks throughout the day
What We're Looking For
- 2 year Associates Degree in Machine Tool Technology or 2-3 years experience as a CNC Machinist with programming experience, or experience in the Machine tool trades via Military service
- Experience operating CNC machines and reading engineering drawings
- Ability to perform basic machine maintenance
- Forklift and overhead crane experience per OSHA standards
- Detail-oriented, hardworking, and able to work in a demanding environment
- Comfortable with a dynamic, multi-tasking atmosphere
Nice to Have
- Programming experience on CNC machines (if not covered above) and familiarity with polymer composite manufacturing contexts
