What You'll Do
- Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools including lathes, milling machines, shapers, grinders, and CNC equipment to perform precision machining operations.
- Machine parts to specifications using cutting tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and precision instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers.
- Monitor feed and speed to optimize machining performance.
- Inspect and measure completed units; document QC data and maintain production records.
