About the Role The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential patient care support under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. You will help with vital signs, hygiene, safety, and maintaining a clean, safe unit environment to support patient well-being.

What You'll Do

• Accurately measure and record patient weights and vital signs.
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition, taking appropriate action and documenting activities.
• Inventory and secure patient belongings as appropriate.
• Assist patients with hygiene, elimination, routine skin care, ADLs, while preserving privacy and respecting patient preferences.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment and ensure infection control procedures and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with patient care activities as directed by a licensed nurse, including specimen collection/transport, turning & positioning, and patient transportation.
• Demonstrate caring behaviors, ownership, and independent judgment in daily activities.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Current and active CNA certification in California.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and patient-care skills; ability to work as part of a team and follow nursing supervision.
• Reliability, professionalism, and ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Physical ability to perform CNA tasks: lifting/transferring patients, assisting with ADLs, standing/walking for shifts.
• This is an onsite role located at Astrana Health in Tustin, CA.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $20-$25 per hour (USD).
• Onsite position with standard healthcare facility benefits as applicable.
