Job title: CNA | Shelby Intermediate Swing Bed | PRN
About the Role Provide basic nursing care to patients under the direction of assigned leadership, in Shelby, MT. This PRN position supports patient priorities, safety, and quality care while contributing to a collaborative team.
What You'll Do
- Deliver and assist in basic patient care under supervision and coordinate workloads and priorities with assigned leadership.
- Perform accurate CNA assessments, measure vital signs, and report any abnormal findings per department protocol.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in line with Logan Health policies; assist with activities of daily living.
- Document care accurately and timely per department procedures.
- Help maintain inventory, restock rooms, and ensure equipment safety and cleanliness for assigned areas.
- Assist with ensuring compliance with Medicare and other regulatory standards.
- Support administrative tasks and day-to-day operations as required by the department; promote a safe, therapeutic environment.
- Collaborate with team members to set and maintain patient care priorities.
What We're Looking For
- Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate.
- RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer, or before independent patient care.
- Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Understanding of confidentiality laws governing provider-patient relationships, including HIPAA.
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills; ability to think critically and prioritize.
- Strong interpersonal skills with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy in sensitive situations.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team; maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Nice to Have
- Previous healthcare setting experience preferred (if not already listed).
Compensation & Benefits
- This PRN role offers flexibility and may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours; pay rates and scheduling vary by department.
