About the Role Logan Health is seeking a CNA or Nurse Aide to provide basic nursing care at Chester Assisted Living under the direction of assigned leadership. This role contributes to our mission of quality, compassionate care and supports the assigned care areas while maintaining patient privacy and safety.

What You'll Do

  • Delivers and assists in delivery of basic patient care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership and as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Communicates with assigned leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
  • Performs accurate CNA assessments and takes vital signs; informs appropriate stakeholders of any abnormal vital signs or changes in condition per department protocol.
  • Maintains patient privacy as defined by Logan Health policies.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living as applicable.
  • Documents care provided accurately and timely per department procedure.
  • Maintains inventory, restocks rooms and supply areas, and maintains equipment for safety and cleanliness.
  • Assists with maintaining compliance with Medicare and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Works with appropriate stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks.
  • Assists in administrative duties and day-to-day operations per department procedure.
  • Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient and provides personal care per department procedure and as applicable to assigned area(s).

What We're Looking For

  • Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate required.
  • Current CPR required as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Possess an understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including HIPAA guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Home Health Aide certification preferred or must successfully obtain within six (6) months of hire.
