About this role

About the Role Logan Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide basic nursing care to patients under supervision in the Chester Critical Access Hospital LTC setting. The role supports patient care, privacy, safety, and collaboration with care teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. What You'll Do

  • Deliver and assist in basic patient care under guidance of leadership and assigned area(s).
  • Communicate with assigned leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
  • Performe accurate CNA assessments and take patient vital signs; inform appropriate stakeholders of abnormal findings per protocol.
  • Maintain patient privacy as defined by Logan Health policies.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living as applicable.
  • Accurately and timely document the care rendered to the patient as defined by department procedure.
  • Maintain inventory, restock rooms, supply areas, and ensure equipment safety and cleanliness as applicable.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with Medicare and all applicable regulatory standards.
  • Work with stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks.
  • Assist in administrative duties and day-to-day operations per department procedure.
  • Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient and provide personal care per department procedure.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership. What We're Looking For
  • Current Montana CNA certificate required.
  • RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.
  • Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Understanding of confidentiality laws governing the provider-patient relationship (HIPAA).
  • Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and empathy; strong organizational skills and detail orientation; critical thinking; ability to work as part of a team or independently.
  • Commitment to teamwork and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn other software as needed. Nice to Have
  • Previous healthcare-related work experience (preferred). Compensation & Benefits
  • Full-time position (36 hours/week) with day shift, onsite at Chester, MT.
