About the Role Logan Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide basic nursing care to patients under the direction and supervision of assigned leadership in the applicable area(s). This role supports the organization’s mission of quality, compassionate care and requires maintaining patient privacy and collaborating with team members.
What You'll Do
- Deliver and assist in the delivery of basic patient care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership and applicable area(s).
- Communicate with assigned leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
- Perform accurate CNA assessments and take vital signs; inform stakeholders of abnormal findings per department protocol.
- Maintain patient privacy per Logan Health policies and procedures.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living as applicable.
- Accurately and timely document care rendered per department procedures.
- Maintain inventory, restock rooms and supply areas, and ensure equipment safety and cleanliness.
- Support compliance with Medicare and other regulatory standards.
- Work with stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks.
- Assist in administrative duties and day-to-day operations per department procedures.
- Promote a safe and therapeutic environment; provide personal care per department procedures.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate required; CPR as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
- Home Health Aide certification preferred or must obtain within six (6) months of hire.
- Understanding of confidentiality laws governing the provider-patient relationship, including HIPAA.
- For Driver portion: valid Driver’s License; driving record in previous 36 months must not reflect major driving offenses.
- State law minimum liability coverage required for personal vehicles used for Logan Health business.
- Excellent organizational, detail-oriented, self-starter with critical thinking; able to set priorities and work as part of a team and independently.
- Commitment to teamwork and maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage sensitive, confidential situations with tact and professionalism.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Nice to Have
- Home Health Aide certification (preferred) or any additional area certifications is preferred.
