About the Role Provides basic nursing care to patients under the direction and supervision of assigned leadership and as applicable to assigned area(s). What You'll Do

• Delivers and assists in delivery of basic patient care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership and as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Communicates with assigned leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
• Performs accurate CNA assessments while taking patients' vital signs.
• Informs appropriate stakeholders of any abnormal vital signs or changes in the patient’s condition, per department protocol.
• Maintains patient privacy as defined by Logan Health policies and procedures.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Documents the care rendered to the patient promptly and accurately as defined by department procedure.
• Maintains inventory, restocks rooms, supply areas, and ensures equipment safety and cleanliness, as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Maintains compliance with Medicare and all applicable regulatory standards.
• Works with appropriate stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks.
• Assists in administrative duties and day-to-day operations per department procedure.
• Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient and provides personal care per department procedure.

What We're Looking For

• Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Understanding of confidentiality laws governing the provider-patient relationship, including HIPAA guidelines.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work effectively with various audiences; capable of independent work and as part of a team.
• Critical thinking, ability to set priorities, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling sensitive situations with tact.
• Proficiency with computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn other software as needed.
