What You'll Do
- Deliver and assist in delivery of basic patient care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership and as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Communicate with assigned leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
- Perform accurate CNA assessments while taking patient’s vital signs; inform appropriate stakeholders of any abnormal vital signs or changes in condition.
- Maintain patient privacy per Logan Health policies.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living as applicable.
- Accurately and timely document care rendered per department procedure.
- Maintain inventory, restock rooms, and ensure equipment safety and cleanliness as applicable.
- Assist with compliance with Medicare and other regulatory standards.
- Work with stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks.
- Assist in administrative duties and day-to-day operations per department procedure as applicable.
- Promote a safe and therapeutic environment and provide personal care per department procedure as applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned; duties may vary by department.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate.
- RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.
- Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Understanding of confidentiality laws governing provider-patient relationships (HIPAA).
- Commitment to excellence, integrity, kindness, empathy, and teamwork.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with diverse audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to manage sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
- Proficiency with computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn other software as needed.
Nice to Have
- Previous healthcare setting experience (preferred).
