About the Role Combines computational, data science, and cyberinfrastructure approaches across domains such as bioinformatics, GIS, data analytics, and computational chemistry to advance research. Applies CI and data science R&D principles with domain science knowledge to enable research and technology integration and development. This role focuses on research and development using HPC and data science tools and resources, within the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences and the Neuroimaging Technology Research Center (NTRC).
What You'll Do
- Conduct research, design, development, analysis, operation, and support of high performance computing (HPC) and data science research, software, tools and hardware resources.
- Develop data algorithms and perform computations, statistical analyses, interpretation and reporting of research.
- Apply computational, computer science, data science and cyber infrastructure (CI) research and development principles, with relevant domain science knowledge, to perform research and technology integration and development.
- Collaborate with the Neuroimaging Technology Research Center (NTRC) and the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences to advance imaging research.
What We're Looking For
- Experience applying computational, data science and cyber infrastructure research and development principles to perform research and technology integration.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and contribute to research in psychiatry, neuroimaging and related domains.
- Familiarity with high performance computing (HPC), software tools, and data algorithms.
