Job title: CMM Operator (Measurement/Inspection) - 2nd Shift
Johnson Controls is seeking a CMM Operator (Measurement/Inspection) for the 2nd shift in York, PA. This role focuses on performing precision measurements and inspections on manufactured parts using Coordinate Measuring Machines to support quality in production. It is a full-time, on-site position based in York, Pennsylvania.
What You'll Do
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines to perform dimensional inspections on manufactured parts and verify conformance to drawings and tolerances.
- Record and document measurement results, organize inspection data, and communicate findings to the manufacturing and quality teams.
- Interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications to ensure correct part features are measured.
- Maintain CMM equipment, schedule calibration, and support preventive maintenance.
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement in quality processes.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with CMM measurement and inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
- Familiarity with GD&T concepts is a plus.
- Ability to work the 2nd shift and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
