Job title: CMF Engineering Trainee
About the Role CMF Engineering Trainee based in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. Logitech offers a 24-month full-time training program designed to rotate across departments, work with cross-functional teams, and build specialist knowledge in product innovation and manufacturing processes. You’ll be mentored by experienced engineers and staff as you explore your interests to determine your CMF focus area.
What You'll Do
- Engineering design, develop, specify and qualify components, modules, products, processes and suppliers with project team and external partners to meet cost, function, quality and schedule goals.
- Work with coach on CMF for new product development/introduction.
- Implement innovation projects on new material development and process optimization.
- Manage technical project schedules and activities in a timely manner.
- Work in a global cross-functional team and with manufacturing partners/vendors to deliver inspiring sensorial experiences to customers.
- Collaborate with key component suppliers and manufacturing partners to deliver CMF on time, cost, quality and quantity.
- Document work in internal technical reports and present concepts to diverse audiences.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree is minimum; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Majors: Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Processing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Metallurgy, Biochemistry.
- Ambitious, results-oriented individuals who go above and beyond.
- Proficient written and spoken English.
- Data research, collection and analysis skills.
- Verbal and written communication, including technical report writing.
- Ability to apply logical, practical thinking to problems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team with multiple colleagues, peers and external clients.
- Creative, independent thinking with initiative to solve problems.
- Highly motivated and up-to-date with latest technological developments.
