About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to build, run and improve the cloud infrastructure behind our platform. You will own deployment pipelines, environment reliability, cost, and security at the infrastructure level, and work closely with backend engineers to keep releases smooth and production stable.

What you will do

• Design, provision and maintain cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, storage, databases, queues) using infrastructure as code.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple backend services across dev, staging and production.

• Manage containerized workloads and orchestration, including scaling, rollouts and rollbacks.

• Set up monitoring, logging, alerting and dashboards, and respond to production incidents.

• Own backup, disaster recovery and high availability for critical services.

• Manage secrets, IAM roles, network policies and access controls, and support security and compliance reviews.

• Track cloud spend, find waste, and right-size resources.

• Manage domains, DNS, certificates, load balancers and CDN configuration.

• Support engineers with environment setup, debugging deployments, and performance tuning.

• Document runbooks and infrastructure decisions.

What we are looking for

• 3+ years of experience in cloud, DevOps or infrastructure engineering.

• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Route 53). Other major clouds are a plus.

• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or a similar infrastructure as code tool.

• Strong working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes or ECS.

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar).

• Good understanding of Linux, networking, TLS and DNS.

• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog or similar).

• Scripting skills in Bash, Python or similar.

• Clear communication and a habit of writing things down.

Nice to have

• Experience running Java/Spring Boot services in production.

• Experience with real-time audio/video or media processing workloads.

• Exposure to cloud security and compliance (SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001).

• Experience with cost optimization and FinOps practices.

• Experience supporting multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
