About the Role

Join OVHcloud in Milan as a Cloud Architect and be part of OneTeam to assist clients and partners with cloud architecture, migration strategies, and knowledge transfer. You will help customers adopt OVHcloud solutions by delivering target architectures, guiding migrations, and ensuring resilient, optimally sized deployments while collaborating with a broader PS team.

What You'll Do

• Support customer migrations to OVHcloud by issuing target architectures and documenting technical migration strategies.

• Manage cloud infrastructure migrations/upgrades and provide multi-domain design recommendations based on technical assessments.

• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with client expectations.

• Deliver technical training to partners and clients regarding OVHcloud offerings.

• Assess client needs and provide workload estimates along with detailed project descriptions.

• Manage complex client issues involving virtualization, networking, security, load balancing, scaling, and automation.

• What We're Looking For

• At least 6 years of experience in client-facing technical activities related to public cloud architecture and migration.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and/or VMware and/or OpenStack (official certifications are a plus).

• Hands-on scripting in Python and Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and/or OpenTofu.

• Experience configuring public/private networking, firewalls and landing zone components.

• Strong expertise operating large-scale, highly available cloud infrastructures with solid troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication skills in Italian and English; ability to collaborate with a geographically distributed team.

• Italian native, English fluent; willing to learn French.

• Nice to Have

• Official certifications in Kubernetes, VMware, OpenStack are a plus.
