Clinical Trials Manager (CTM)

About the Role We’re seeking a Clinical Trials Manager (CTM) to support Gilead's Early Phase Oncology pipeline. The CTM leads end-to-end operational delivery of early-phase trials, ensuring quality through cross-functional leadership and CRO/vendor oversight, coordinating internal teams and external partners to meet study objectives. What You'll Do

• Coordinate and supervise all aspects of the clinical study.
• Assist Clinical Program Manager in overall study management.
• Draft and coordinate review of protocols, informed consent forms, case report forms, monitoring plans, investigator brochures, and clinical study reports.
• Maintain study timelines and contribute to development of study budgets and RFPs; participate in CRO/vendor selection and management.
• Review data listings and prepare interim/final clinical study reports.
• May contribute to abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts; train CROs, vendors, investigators, and study coordinators as needed.
• Ensure effectiveness of site budget/contract processes.
• Help determine activities to support project priorities and may design scientific communications under supervision.
• Travel is required. Excellent teamwork, communication, decision-making and organizational skills are essential.
• Possess thorough knowledge of FDA/EMEA regulations, ICH guidelines, and GCPs; interpret protocol requirements and prioritize tasks.
• May serve as a clinical trials management resource; participate in multiple initiatives under limited supervision; support SOP development and implementation. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree with five years’ experience in a relevant scientific discipline OR Master’s degree with three years’ experience.
• Prior CRO/Pharma experience REQUIRED.
• Prior Oncology experience REQUIRED.
• Early Development/Early Phase Oncology experience preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work under supervision and manage multiple tasks. Nice to Have
• Early Development/Early Phase Oncology experience (if not already required). Compensation & Benefits
• Salary ranges: Bay Area: $146,540 - $189,640; Other US Locations: $133,195 - $172,370. Salary is subject to experience, qualifications, and location.
• Eligible for discretionary annual bonus and discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility varies by role).
