About the Role Clinical Supervisor (Psychologist) provides patient care across a range of mental health disorders, including severe conditions such as major depressive disorder, paranoia, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder. The role may involve inpatient, outpatient, or clinical research settings, and requires collaboration with licensed clinicians, counselors, and crisis intervention specialists. The emphasis is on treatment and enabling patients to manage their lives outside the clinical setting, using a combination of psychiatric medications and psychotherapy.
What You'll Do
- Involves patient care services for a range of mental health disorders, including severe conditions, in inpatient, outpatient, or clinical research settings.
- Collaborates with licensed clinicians, counselors, and crisis intervention specialists to deliver coordinated care.
- Focuses on treatment and supports patients in regaining independence in the outside world through a combination of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy.
- Contributes to psychiatric service operations in an acute care setting, following medical center, HR, and UC policies and processes.
What We're Looking For
- PhD in clinical psychology or Psy.D. from an accredited institution.
- Licensed in a psychiatric behavioral health – Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience.
- Knowledge of psychiatric service operations and ability to apply concepts in an acute care setting.
- Knowledge of medical center, HR and UC policies and processes.
