Job title: Clinical Social Worker/LICSW/South Shore Hospital
We are seeking a Clinical Social Worker/LICSW to provide psychosocial support to oncology patients and families at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s South Weymouth location. The role includes crisis intervention, individual, couples and family counseling, support groups, and short-term bereavement therapy, and requires coordination of patient care across the clinical continuum.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical psychosocial intervention including crisis intervention, individual, couples and family counseling, support groups, and short-term bereavement therapy.
- Coordinate patient care through the continuum to facilitate optimal quality outcomes related to clinical care and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of oncologist, APP, Oncology Nurse Navigator, and primary infusion staff.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Social Worker with LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) or equivalent licensure.
- Experience providing psychosocial care within oncology settings and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication, counseling, and crisis intervention skills.
Compensation:
- Salary: $90,200.00 - $96,700.00 per year
