Clinical Social Worker/LICSW

About the Role Provides clinical psychosocial intervention to reduce cancer-related distress and improve quality of life, supporting patients, families and caregivers across the cancer care continuum. This role partners with a multidisciplinary team to guide care from pre-diagnosis through treatment, survivorship and end of life in a hybrid in-person/remote setting. What You'll Do

• Provide biopsychosocial assessment and intervention, crisis intervention, coordination of psychosocial services, and consultation to reduce cancer-related distress across the trajectory of care.
• Facilitate evidence-based patient/family/caregiver support programs or groups and establish empathic relationships with patients and families facing significant emotional adjustment issues.
• Maintain a working knowledge of individual, couples, family, and group counseling techniques; assess adaptation of families and caregivers to illness; ensure maximum participation in the continuum of care; and facilitate complex goals of care conversations for shared decision-making.
• Deliver clinical interventions focused on cancer-related distress using short-term, goal-oriented, strengths-based approaches; provide individual, family, and group modalities to ensure equity and accessibility of social work services.
• Coordinate services with internal and external resources; support comprehensive patient care, including linkage to community mental health partners and other resources.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including oncologists, APPs, Oncology Nurse Navigators, infusion RNs, surgeons, radiation oncologists, resource navigators and collateral staff to optimize patient care from diagnosis through survivorship and/or end of life. What We're Looking For
• Licensed Social Worker (LICSW) with demonstrated ability to provide clinical psychosocial services in oncology settings; strong crisis management and counseling skills.
• Ability to form empathic relationships with patients/families and facilitate complex serious illness conversations to support shared treatment decision-making.
• Experience with biopsychosocial assessment, short-term therapy, and individual/family/group counseling; comfort addressing psychosocial risk factors (e.g., domestic violence, caregiver strain) as part of care.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and coordinate care across the cancer care continuum. Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $90,200.00 - $96,700.00 per year
• Location: Hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days onsite per week) in South Weymouth, MA
