Job Summary
Job Title: Clinical Service Manager Noord Oost Nederland (1-jaar contract/vervanging zwangerschap) Insulet began in 2000 with the idea and mission to let customers experience simplicity, freedom and a healthier life through our Omnipod product platform. Function description The Clinical Services Manager (CSM) works with the local Insulet Account Manager, Customer Care (CC) and Clinical Product Educator (CPE) to meet clinical and commercial needs, refer to appropriate solutions, and maintain patients on Insulet products.
The CSM collaborates with healthcare professionals (HCPs), including endocrinologists, diabetes nurses and members of multidisciplinary diabetes teams.
The CSM will motivate, educate, train, support and challenge customers to ensure the right people receive Omnipod therapy at the right moment.
The CSM is expected to use their clinical experience, together with clinical evidence and best practice, in clinical discussions to influence the choice of Omnipod therapy.
The role involves introducing Omnipod to people when needed, in collaboration with the relevant healthcare provider.
This position is offered as a full-time employment (100%). Part-time work is possible and negotiable.
Responsibilities

Promote the benefits of insulin pump therapy and the Omnipod Insulin Management System to clinicians and patients in group and/or individual sessions

Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals (endocrinologists, diabetes nurses, clinical specialists and members of multidisciplinary diabetes teams) to position Omnipod therapy appropriately and ensure people receive Omnipod in a timely manner. Use clinical evidence and clinical experience to support these discussions

Organize and deliver patient trainings in collaboration with outpatient clinics based on needs and urgency

Assist in providing regular product demos to patients and healthcare professionals

Work with field sales, inside sales and customer care in an account management approach to achieve the goals of starting and maintaining Omnipod therapy

Provide feedback to relevant internal Insulet teams

Process customer administration in Salesforce and keep account plans up to date

Support group events such as pod support groups, information sessions, office-based educational events, patient information evenings, supplier days, etc.

Assist in product training for sales and clinical staff

Maintain own diabetes knowledge in line with latest developments

Perform administrative tasks in a timely manner

Carry out other assigned tasks

Education and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and experience in training and/or guiding insulin pump patients or equivalent experience

Professional up-to-date qualifications and/or certifications, or equivalent qualifications: e.g., certified diabetes nurse, certified dietitian, certified nurse, or equivalent

Driving license (B)

Physical Requirements:

Valid driving license (B) and residence within the designated area. This role requires regular business travel, typically by car within a defined geographic region

Hotel overnight stays due to work, typically 1-2 nights per month

The work environment will be in hospitals, clinics, outpatient departments, home (office) and car

Some lifting may be required when shipping or receiving shipments, handling samples, supplies or literature and transporting a laptop

Note: In this role you will spend much of your time working outside the office; travel within the assigned area/rayon is required
