Responsibilities

What you will do

Optimizes daily all modality schedules by being the central point of contact for all add on procedures.

Facilitates communications between referring physicians and radiologists.

Follows-up with patient to reschedule appointments for those who do not show or cancel appointments.

Operates and utilizes the Scheduler Program in the hospital scheduling system

Proactively identifies open timeslots and contacts patients and referrers to backfill slots.

Builds relationships with referring offices to become central point of contact for immediate appointment availability.

Fields referrers’ special requests for reports, unique protocols, follow-up, etc.

Central contact for any technical recalls requested by the radiologist.
Qualifications

Education
-
H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program preferred

Work Experience
-
2 years of administrative/clerical experience required

Imaging scheduling experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

None required
-
BCLS - Basic Life Support preferred
