Job title: Clinical Research Coordinator Nephrology
About the Role The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) at UCSF will independently or with supervision execute, manage, and coordinate kidney disease research protocols under the Clinical Research Supervisor and/or Principal Investigator (PI). The CRC may coordinate data collection and operations of several concurrent clinical research studies, in accordance with research protocols, UCSF policies, and regulating agency guidelines. The role will focus on coordinating multiple clinical studies involving kidney disease patients.
What You'll Do
- Enroll patients in and assist with execution of industry trials for kidney disease.
- Enroll patients in biospecimen banking studies from kidney disease clinics.
- Support various smaller pilot studies conducted in clinic.
- Maintain IRBs and other regulatory documents.
- Support other research studies as time permits.
- Schedule patient visits and procedures.
- Maintain accurate research charts and study binders.
- Perform accurate data collection and data entry.
- Conduct patient follow-up visits according to specific study requirements.
- Complete consent procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to work independently or with general direction at the journey level to execute, manage, and coordinate research protocols under the supervision of the Clinical Research Supervisor and/or Principal Investigator.
- Experience coordinating data collection and operations for several concurrent clinical research studies under guidelines of research protocols, UCSF policies, and regulating agency policies.
- Experience coordinating kidney disease patient studies and related clinical research activities.
- Strong organizational skills for scheduling, record-keeping, data entry, follow-up, and consent processes.
