About the Role This is a targeted posting for a Clinical Research Coordinator with experience in psychedelic research to support an NIA-funded, multisite clinical trials consortium. The role involves coordinating data collection, operations, and study management under the PI's direction, ensuring compliance with protocols, UCSF policies, and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate data collection and operations of single or multiple clinical research studies under the guidelines of research protocols, UCSF and regulating agency policies.
- Act as intermediary between services and departments while overseeing data and specimen management.
- Manage and report on study results; create, clean, update, and manage databases and comprehensive datasets and reports.
- Coordinate staff work schedules, recruit and train Assistant CRCs for the research team, and assist the PI with oversight of other research staff.
- Support psychedelic research activities as part of an NIA-funded multisite clinical trials consortium.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator with knowledge of psychedelic research.
- Ability to work independently or with general direction at the fully operational journey level.
- Experience coordinating data collection and operations of several concurrent clinical research studies.
- Familiarity with research protocols, UCSF policies, and regulating agency policies.
- Strong data management, database creation/cleaning/updating, and reporting skills.
- Ability to coordinate staff schedules, recruit/train Assistant CRCs, and assist the PI with oversight of other research staff.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder coordination skills.
