Job title: Clinical Research Coordinator
About the Role Concentric Methods is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to independently provide support services to the NIH. This is an hourly, non-exempt position at $30.00 for up to 40 hours per week. This role supports clinical staff in developing, implementing and maintaining clinical research data files and materials.
What You'll Do
- Support clinical staff in developing, implementing and maintaining clinical research data files and materials.
- Assist preparing and submitting accurate source documents for review related to all research procedures.
- Collect research data and prepare information for inputs and analysis; collaborate with staff on data acquisition and analysis across recruitment, data entry, management and display for Department of Bioethics studies.
- Support development of forms and questionnaires.
- Coordinate logistics of courses and workshops, including the Ethical and Regulatory Aspects of Clinical Research course and the Empirical Research Lab.
- Support collection of data from patient charts, medical records, interviews, questionnaires, and diagnostic tests.
- Conduct literature searches; gather and synthesize background information.
- Monitor subjects' progress and report adverse events.
- Assist staff writing progress reports and contributions to peer-reviewed manuscripts.
- Support assembly, development and review of new research projects.
- Work with staff on manuscript preparation and submission for research studies.
- Prepare materials for IRB submission, manuscript transmittals and other necessary approvals and reviews.
- Support the creation and management of clinical websites and web-based tools.
- Collaborate with staff on the maintenance of departmental metrics, databases and websites.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator or similar role through independent support to NIH.
- Ability to manage data collection, entry, management and analysis; recruitment and data display.
- Familiarity with IRB processes, submissions and regulatory documentation.
- Strong writing, editing and manuscript preparation skills.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits
