About the Role Lyra is seeking a highly skilled licensed psychologist with exceptional clinical expertise, writing skills, and content development experience who is passionate about developing client-facing materials that teach evidence-based mental health skills. This role focuses on the development, management, and innovation of Lyra’s digital self-care/prevention offering and supports AI tool safety and effectiveness. You will be part of a collaborative team with a track record for engaging digital clinical materials that reach tens of thousands of clients. What You'll Do
- Develop high-impact self-care resources: review the evidence base, write, and incorporate feedback to create engaging resources (articles, storytelling, short videos, quick tips, exercises).
- Create customized content for key populations: develop tailored resources for special populations; conduct qualitative research (e.g., surveying providers) to enhance clinical value.
- Contribute to member outreach: collaborate with Marketing on monthly campaigns, provide clinical review, and represent the clinical perspective in strategy discussions.
- Support AI tool development: contribute to clinical AI tool development and refinement, including testing, quality assurance monitoring, and writing gold-standard responses/dialogues for safety and clinical effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: partner with Product, Design, and other Lyra teams on self-care initiatives.
- Contribute to self-care innovation: track emerging trends/research to inform ideas that increase engagement and clinical value; review licensing sources.
- Provide internal training: develop and deliver trainings for internal teams to disseminate self-care resources.
- Global localization: support adapting and scaling resources for new languages and global populations. What We're Looking For
- PsyD or PhD in Clinical or Counseling psychology; fully licensed psychologist
- 2+ years of primarily full-time direct clinical experience post-licensure
- Excellent writing and content development experience; ability to teach evidence-based mental health skills at scale
- Strong training in evidence-based treatments (ACT, MBCT, MBSR, CBT, DBT, IPT, EFT)
- Experience with case conceptualization, treatment planning, and curriculum development
- Training/experience teaching skills groups (DBT, CBT, MBSR)
- Mindfulness trainer/practitioner (preferred)
- Experience with parents/adolescents/children (preferred)
- Culturally responsive care (preferred)
- Mental health promotion/prevention interventions (a plus)
- Independent, flexible, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Nice to Have
- Mindfulness trainer/practitioner experience
- Experience delivering care for diverse populations (parents, adolescents, children)
- Additional training in culturally diverse care and prevention-focused programs Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary: $106,000 - $162,500
- May be eligible for discretionary bonuses
