About the Role The Clinical Operations Specialist applies extensive knowledge of ambulatory care clinics, clinical, regulatory, and operational practices to improve access, efficiency, and productivity. This role coordinates and monitors ambulatory care clinic operations with the Nurse Manager and Medical Directors across multiple sites and complex initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and monitor ambulatory care clinic operations in collaboration with the Nurse Manager and Medical Directors to improve access, efficiency, and productivity.
- Analyze clinical coverage needs for Parnassus, Mission Bay, Mt. Zion Hospital Operating Rooms, the Orthopedic Institute, and all off-site Anesthesia sites, across operating and non-operating locations.
- Develop staffing plans for more than 298 Anesthesiologists by analyzing staffing availability data and coordinating with CRNAs and clinical residents.
- Lead and implement large-scale, cross-departmental projects within ambulatory anesthesia services.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive knowledge of ambulatory care clinics, clinical practices, regulatory requirements, and operational processes.
- Experience analyzing staffing data and determining clinical coverage needs across multiple sites.
- Ability to coordinate with the Nurse Manager, Medical Directors, CRNAs, and clinical residents.
- Track record of implementing projects of large scope and complexity within healthcare operations.
