About the Role The Perioperative Clinical Coordinator is a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for perioperative nursing care within designated surgical specialties. This role coordinates department throughput, resources, and staffing, and ensures supplies, equipment, and instruments are available to deliver optimal surgical care. You will communicate workflows and collaborate with key stakeholders in perioperative areas.
What You'll Do
- Accountable for perioperative nursing care provided in designated surgical specialties.
- Coordinates department throughput, efficiencies, resources and staffing.
- Secures/procures and maintains supplies, equipment and instruments necessary to deliver optimal surgical care.
- Coordinates perioperative workflows and communicates with all key stakeholders working with or in perioperative areas.
What We're Looking For
- Education: BSN or currently enrolled in a BSN program. Degree must be acquired within 24 months from an accredited nursing program, of hire.
- Certification/License: IL RN License; CPR and BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- Experience: Experience in OR setting.
- Skills/Competencies: Team building, leadership acumen, critical thinking and effective communication. Must demonstrate competency in care of all patient age groups specific to specialty. Competencies are unit/specialty specific.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $36.00 - $55.80 per hour (Hourly Pay Range).
