About the Role The Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Cardiovascular Medical-Surgical Telemetry at Glenbrook Hospital leads daily clinical operations and ensures safe, high-quality patient care. This role blends operational leadership with direct patient care when needed, guiding a multidisciplinary team and coordinating care throughout the patient pathway. What You'll Do
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high-quality patient experience
- Manage day-to-day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput
- Would assume direct patient care if necessary
- Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s)
- Guide and direct a team of care-givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge
- Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills
- Takes lead on clinical performance management What We're Looking For
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in appropriate clinical setting required; Prior management experience preferred
- Schedule includes nights and evenings with rotating weekends
- Strong leadership, teaching, mentoring and team coordination skills Nice to Have
- Master’s degree preferred
- Prior management experience preferred Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate range: $43.69 - $67.72 USD
- Eligible for Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) based on organizational performance
