About the Role Drive the global clinical marketing strategy for spine surgery, translating clinical insights into compelling value propositions and aligning with portfolio priorities and go-to-market objectives. What You'll Do
- Define and drive the global clinical marketing strategy for spine surgery, ensuring alignment with portfolio priorities and go-to-market objectives; collaborate with R&D, Business Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Sales.
- Lead clinical development activities, medical affairs initiatives, and regulatory marketing support for product launches in accordance with MDR and FDA requirements.
- Transform complex clinical and technical information into clear, compelling value propositions for surgeons, hospital decision-makers, and key opinion leaders.
- Represent Siemens Healthineers at congresses, symposia, customer events, and internal forums, engaging audiences of different sizes and backgrounds.
- Establish and strengthen long-term partnerships with key opinion leaders across the global spine surgery community.
- Create evidence-based content, including white papers, clinical case studies, and digital assets, positioning Siemens Healthineers as a trusted partner in the spine operating room.
- Take ownership of initiatives from concept to implementation by developing campaigns, training materials, and sales enablement resources that deliver real value.
- Manage projects with a structured approach, define clear milestones, monitor progress, and proactively address challenges to ensure successful execution.
- Collaborate across functions to align priorities, coordinate timelines, and maximize clinical and commercial outcomes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and accountability across teams, regions, and business units. What We're Looking For
- Academic or professional background in medicine, engineering, life sciences, or healthcare management (MD, MSc, or equivalent preferred).
- Expertise in spine surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, or image-guided surgery, which would be highly valued.
- 5+ years of professional experience in clinical marketing, application sales, medical affairs, or related field—ideally within medical technology, surgical devices, or imaging in spine surgery.
- Experience leading clinical or commercial programs from strategic planning through implementation with measurable results.
- Experience with clinical studies, including study design, execution, data evaluation, or publication activities (advantage).
- Strategic thinker who can zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to execute with precision; strong prioritization and adaptability.
- Clear and persuasive communicator, comfortable presenting to large audiences and creating concise marketing content.
- Structured, transparent work style; ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to build trusted relationships across functions, cultures, and regions; patient- and customer-focused mindset.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are ideal; additional languages welcome. Nice to Have
