About the Role The Clinical Lab Assistant supports laboratory operations across multiple modalities with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Compensation is dependent on the number of modalities performed, and candidates without experience may be considered for a paid apprenticeship. Regular in-person attendance and on-call responsibilities are required.
What You'll Do
- Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner and maintain supplies and inventory for departmental functions
- Observe students and new staff as needed and participate in training/competency assessments
- Handle hospital communications and on-call responsibilities as assigned by location
- Demonstrate effective telephone and verbal communication and maintain client/patient confidentiality
