About the Role The Clinical Dietitian provides nutritional services and medical nutrition therapy that align with patients' medical program goals. The role focuses on developing and implementing nutrition care to support wellness objectives for all patients. What You'll Do
- Design and develop consumer nutrition, health and wellness education programs and services, identifying evaluation criteria for effectiveness of these programs.
- Perform nutritional, health and wellness screening and assessment.
- Manage ongoing nutritional care plans based on the developmental needs of each patient-member.
- Prepare and complete patient-member records and documentation according to licensure guidelines.
- Contribute to nutrition education and in-service training of patients, staff, colleagues, and students when required.
- Provide documentation that summarizes the nutrition care plan in the patient medical record, including nutritional assessment, diagnosis plan, implementation and progress.
- Demonstrate accountability for the proper use of patient PHI and utilize scheduling and EMR to monitor patient flow.
- Use EMR to monitor patients through scheduling and maintenance. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition required.
- 1 year clinical dietitian experience preferred.
- Registered Dietitian RD required from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- AHA Heartsaver CPR preferred. Nice to Have
- CPR certification (AHA Heartsaver) preferred. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $28.47 - $42.71 per hour
