Job title: Clinical Dietitian
About the Role Clinical Dietitian to provide clinical nutrition support, care and information to patients and staff of Bay Area Hospital. This full-time role supports medical nutrition therapy and collaboration with care teams within Nutrition Services.
What You'll Do
- Provide clinical nutrition support, care and information to patients and staff of Bay Area Hospital.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement nutrition plans and patient education.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance at the assigned job location.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Food & Nutrition or Dietetics; completion of approved coordinated undergraduate program, dietetic internship or approved masters program with qualifying work experience.
- Registered dietitian or eligible for registration; must obtain registration within 1 year.
- Licensed as a Dietitian in the State of Oregon.
- Current driver’s license or obtain within 30 days.
- Must obtain Oregon Food Handler/ Food Manager Certification or ServSafe within 30 days of hire.
- One year of experience in clinical or community nutrition preferred.
- Proficient in using calculator, computer, PowerPoint, telephone, copy machine, and fax.
- Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.
- Certifications: Certified Diabetic Educator, Certified Oncology Nutrition Specialist, Certified Nutrition Support Specialist preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $30.40 - $41.12 per hour (minimum to maximum; based on experience).
