Job title: Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor, Prosthodontics
About the Role The University of New England College of Dental Medicine invites applications for full-time (1.0 FTE) 12-month clinical track positions in Prosthodontics at the Assistant Clinical Professor, Associate Clinical Professor, or Clinical Professor rank, dependent upon experience and credentials. Located on UNE’s Portland Campus for the Health Sciences, UNE CDM is the only dental school in a region where access to quality oral healthcare is a challenge. The Prosthodontics faculty member will serve in the Department of Restorative & Clinical Sciences and will contribute to didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction, curriculum development, mentoring pre-doctoral students, and service to college, university, and community.
What You'll Do
- Didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction and curriculum development
- Mentoring pre-doctoral students
- After-hours emergency call coverage (by rotation)
- Participation in college, university, and community service
What We're Looking For
- D.D.S./D.M.D. degree, or international equivalent
- Successfully completed NBDE Parts I & II or INBDE
- By the position start date, CODA-accredited graduate program in Prosthodontics completed
- Board Certified, or eligible for Board Certification, as a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics
- Active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure (full/faculty)
