About the Role

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan seeks board-certified/eligible Comprehensive Otolaryngologists to join the faculty and practice full-time at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow (UMH-Sparrow) in Lansing, MI. The position involves clinical care across the full scope of Otolaryngology with an emphasis on maxillofacial trauma, within a Level 1 trauma center and large academic program. Rank will be Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Professor depending on experience.

What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery clinical care at UMH-Sparrow in Lansing, MI.

  • Practice the full scope of ENT with emphasis on maxillofacial trauma and participate in teaching and research within a large academic program.

  • Contribute to scholarly activities, with expectations of publications, external funding, and presentations; maintain clinical competence and teaching excellence; obtain/maintain appropriate Michigan medical licenses.

  • What We're Looking For

  • MD or DO; board certification in Otolaryngology; license or ability to obtain Michigan medical license.

  • Evidence of clinical competence and scholarly ability (peer-reviewed publications, external funding, national presentations) and teaching competence.

  • Experience/interest in maxillofacial trauma.

  • Rank of Clinical Assistant/Clinical Associate/Clinical Professor; dependent on experience.
